This is a song I wrote about my 3 Favorite Streets. Those 3 Streets are: Bourbon St, Broadway St, & Duval St. I love the ability to walk from bar to bar and enjoy the Live Music, culture, libations, and fun atmosphere that each street brings. I was standing in the middle of Broadway taking a picture and said this is one of my 3 Favorite Streets. I realized at that time I had a song. I hope you enjoy it. I brought a good friend, Shine Delphi on board to help write the chords and bring out the New Orleans swing feel of the song which carries throughout the verses and chorus. I knew the song needed piano to blend all the instruments together and look no farther than Dr Nyce. I then brought Mike Yinger in to add Trombone to the song and boy did Mike Deliver It will take right to Bourbon St. The final touches were Upright Bass by Joe Schaefer and Background Vocals from Megan Miller. My Recording & Mixing Engineer Derek Euston pulled it all together and Fred Pellegrini mastered the mix. This is a song I am forever grateful for all the musicians involved.
